For over 25 years, Rational Games has been proving that negotiation isn't just about winning - it’s about how you play the game.
After a whirlwind year of transition, we aren't just shifting our pieces on the board; we’ve officially built a whole new home for them in the heart of Europe.
We are thrilled to announce that the Rational Games Academy has officially joined the Rational Games Foundation to create a powerhouse European structure dedicated to making the world a more cooperative place.
The Dual Engine of Impact
Think of us as a social business with two high-performance engines:
The Academy: This is where the magic happens on the ground. We’re doubling down on our teaching, coaching, and consulting, helping professionals turn conflict into collaboration.
The Foundation: This is our "North Star." By scaling our philanthropic and peace-building efforts, we’re ensuring that the "Rational Games" philosophy reaches the communities that need it most.

Passing the Torch (Without Dropping the Flame): A New Leadership Steps Forward
This isn't just a corporate reorganization; it’s a generational "passing of the torch." We are moving from finite games (playing to win) to infinite games (playing to keep the game going).
New Leadership at the Helm: Please join us in a huge "Willkommen" to Giacomo Taddei, our newly appointed Executive Director of the Academy. Giacomo is stepping into this next chapter with a perfect mix of continuity and curiosity.
The Dream Team: Giacomo isn't flying solo. He’s backed by a powerhouse mentorship squad featuring Sebastian Schäfer, Janne Sven Krippl, Max Felix Herrmann, and our legendary founder, Mark Young.
The Strategic Anchor: Mark isn't going anywhere; he’s stepping into his role as President of the Foundation, acting as the steady lighthouse guiding us through new waters.
Fresh Perspectives in the Boardroom
Diversity isn't just a buzzword for us; it’s a strategic advantage. We are incredibly proud to welcome Denny Meadows and Joana Matos to the leadership of our Beirat (Advisory Board). Their expertise and fresh perspectives are already strengthening our governance and ensuring our "Rational" approach stays sharp and inclusive as the new leadership steps forward.
Why Germany? Why Now?
Germany and Europe aren't just where we registered our paperwork; they are our home. This is a long-term commitment to a region that prizes responsible business, deep partnerships, and social impact.
"This is not a rupture; it is continuity with intention."
We’re building on 25 years of trust and experience to prove that, in business and in life, how we play the game matters.
Ready to play the infinite game with us?
